Montessori Environments

Montessori Toddler Environment
The Toddler environment assists students in the development of skills of language, art, music, movement, and social interaction. Students also develop their practical life abilities with grace and courtesy, cleaning, preparing meals, and toileting. Through repeated successes in the Toddler environment, independence and self-esteem grow within the child.

Montessori Preprimary Environment

Children learn to make their own work choices, use materials carefully, clean their workspace, respect people and objects in their school. The Preprimary environment includes the following areas of study: Practical Life (everyday living skills), Sensorial (exploration of the senses), Language (phonics approach to language), Math (concrete work with quantity and symbol), and Cultural (art, music, geography, history, science, movement, Spanish).
